Chow Time Grill and Buffet in Panama City

First time. Lots of food, clean, nice,very good food. I will be going back.

There are a lot of kinds of food asian food to choose such as fried rice, grilled ribs and sushi.I’m a shrimp lover so I tried many shrimps menu here. I found that small shrimps were good. They were fresh. However, crayfish was not fresh enough. For other dishes were ok.Nothing was superb but they were still in the standard.I think it’s reasonable with the price which was around $13 per person (and you can eat everything).Therefore, I suggest this to anyone who loves eating in big amount and doesn’t expect so high about taste. Plus, staffs were very nice and polite.In my opinion, base on their price and quality of food, this is still a good choice of buffet for me and friends.

I am confused by two reviews. Edward Price says he "returned a full plate of food"? How do you do that at a Buffet? If one of his selections didn't please him there are like a gazillion things to eat on the buffet. Surely, something would have suitged him. Was Edward Price trying to just not pay????Service Dog: Does everyone have a "service dog" these days? Oh, its for "emotional support". If you REALLY have a service dog you should have the paperwork to prove it. Now a lot of people buy a dog suit that looks like it belongs on a service dog and call it a service dog and expect all of us to just bow at their feet.The food is OUTSTANDING, THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING, AND THEY ARE TOO POLITE TO EVEN ANSWER THE TWO NEGATIVE REVIEWS. MANY MANY PEOPLE LOVE THE PLACE. THE RESTAURANT WILL NOT MISS EITHER OF THESE WHINERS.

Great food and a large selection. Will definitely return again

Lunch was good, wished it was hot instead of barely warm for some items. Flavor was good, service was great. They are a lot better than they were the last time we went 10+ years ago. The restaurant is beautiful.

No customer service at all. The waitress came by and says more drink. I have sat there for at least 30mins eatting and drinking. My drink gets all the to the bottom of the glass and now at this time im done eating, and she comes by and ask me more drink? I said no not now cause im done eating now and to late to ask me that. Oh by the way it was not busy they was standing around not doing nothing.

Great eats! Also the layout and design of the restaurant is serene and beautiful. Very easy to relax and enjoy some delicious food.

I moved to Missouri and came for a visit and had to stop and eat just like i remember love it

I RETURNED A FULL PLATE OF FOOD. All of the chicken was tough to eat, the broccoli was so tough you could not put a fork in it. I told the head water about the problem. He spoke to the manager in Japanese thay both chuckled. He charged me full price and went on his merry way. I had an appointment so I had to leave. But I told him it would be a cold day in hell before I can back again. Before the hurricane I came to eat there every day. The food was great. My weightier did good. Keep table cleaned off and my drink glass full. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it is today!

Sushi buffet! Everything is great except the featured crab legs...overcooked past their prime. But you will find plenty of other delish dishes to compensate.

Great dinner buffet. There is something for everyone. I enjoyed the sushi very much.

Foods just as good as it was before the storm. My only disappointment was that now crab legs are separate from the all you can eat and you have to pay for them per pound. Considering some of the "etiquette" I've seen from other diners though, like this one woman who literally stood at the empty crab leg pot for 10 minutes waiting for new ones and then emptied the ENTIRE pot onto her plate, I can kind of understand why they've changed it.

Whether you get carry out or dine in, the food is always great. All the employees are so helpful, friendly and eager to please.

I’m not pleased at all hair was found in my nephews plate. He informed the cashier which I believe she was the owner. She still made him pay for his food and argued him down and he is 14 years old. I would say poor customer service and not a clean place to eat we will not be back.

Huge selection of food. Dishes were clean and staff was constantly wiping and cleaning surface areas. Food was fresh and continually replenished. It is definitely worth the price. Sushi bar.

Great food and drinks. Interesting decor and atmosphere. I haven't been in the evening but I can only imagine that it gets more interesting.

Lots of choices from hibachi to sushi and everything Chinese in between. They even have kids options like pizza and Mac n cheese! The lunch prices are great for all you can eat. Haven't been for dinner yet but I'm told there's more options and full on crab legs too.

Rude mgmt servers are ok management is rude

We love chow time. We have tried other Chinese buffets but nothing compares to chow time! We just need one on the beach!

This place is off the chain, folks! My wife and I hit this place all the time and the staff knows us on sight. Since their reopening after the hurricane, they have just gotten better! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a good variety of both Chinese and American foods!

Love this place. Chinese food nicely done. With hibachi grill and full sushi bar. Guessing sushi bar must have been 20 ft long. All for 10.99 on weekend. I believe it was 8.99 weekdays. Soda was extra. It's been remodeled since hurricane. Perhaps nicest chinese place I've ever been too. Great food. Nice people.

This new chow time is better than the previous one. Easily the best buffet Panama City/Beach area

This was soooo wonderful. No crab legs, or coconut shrimp. . . I ate too much of their 😋 yummy food.

Lots and tons of variety of food. There are so many choices it's hard to decide what to eat. Food is hot and fresh. They also have Hibachi which it's so worth the price for the buffet. They should cut the meats in smaller portions through. Overall good buffet.

Wonderful food. Great service. Amazing sushi. I have not had better Asian food in my 72 years. The cook and kitchen staff are amazing.

First trip here since they opened back up post Hurricane Michael. It's even better now than before. I've been going here for over 12 yrs. That should say it all right there.

They always have food out an if they run out they replace amediately. Always clean an nice when I go in.

Assuming everything was poorly stocked due to covid but don't go until it is over. No steak or crab on the dinner buffet, almost all the sushi was out and no one was making more. A whole buffet island was missing... Just pretty much your basic cheap frozen to microwave Chinese food. The second star was because the hibachi is still good.

We do it for fun with another couple. Itsgood and we have good time. Everything is hot unlike some places.

Food was somewhat scarce....but due to virus I'm sure.....good except mac n cheese looked very old

Chow Time Grill & Buffet is back and even better than I remember it!! They provide a wide variety of dishes...for lunch they have the traditional fare of noodles, rice, teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour items, chicken kabobs, peel and eat shrimp, soups to name a few. They also have pizza, potato skins, ice cream, desert, a sushi bar and hibachi grill. So, needless to say they have plenty of variety. With a friendly attentive staff and all you can eat buffet this makes Chow Time a great choice for lunch or dinner. 🍜🍗🍖🍕🍨🍰🍣😁

Quite a big place with a lot of food from sushi to meats, desserts and ice cream. Been there two times, both times the place was clean, if some spill accident happened, it was quickly taken care of. Price differs for lunch and dinner. Also available wok food, but I haven't tried any of those. Sushi tasted really good and they had a large selection of different styles with many sauces available.

This is definitely my favorite Chinese buffet in this area! They have plenty of fresh seafood and I love the fact that they have several different types of sushi rolls included. My boyfriend actually loves the steak that they serve there as well...really good!!!

They only have half menu but charged full prices at 1:00 Not worth it any more.

The chips for my soup were staleEgg rolls were so tough I couldn't even bite them.So disappointing..cause it was awesome last timeAnd they charged me dinner price...when I was there earlier and DidNotEat from the specified Dinner Buffet

There is a great assortment of food and it's pleasing to the eye and taste buds. The display is nicely setup.

The best of the best and unexpected low prices. I would recommend the highest score for this establishment. Soups to nuts and a great selection of food and desserts. Can not say enough about this restaurant. Loved it.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems the food was a little better before the hurricane. It was still good, but.....The service definitely was better before the storm. This time, it was inconsistent; from don't give a damn, don't want to be bothered, mad, to on top of things. Still worth the ride.

Food was fine. Bathroom was Filthy!! No soap. Tissue all over floor and pee on floor around toilet.

This is our favorite place to eat when we head into Panama City! The buffet has a good variety of dishes. Also, I love the hibachi grill. The staff is friendly and we have always gotten good service.

Always have to eat here when we get the chance.

Very good food and very fresh good variety! They are kid friendly so they have a good variety for kids too! My only recommendation is stop putting mustard in the Mac & Cheese!

The selection of food was amazing. From seafood to traditional Asian cuisine, there were also some American-style food staples also offered. The buffet was well stocked and attentively maintained to ensure freshness. The restaurant was well lit and immaculately clean. The wait staff was friendly and very efficient in clearing the tables of used dinnerware. I really enjoyed the Hibachi grill where ingredients of your choice are prepared and cooked to your specifications. The buffet has plenty of choices for children too. It was a pleasant dining experience and reasonably priced.

Going back today. Great warm food. All is good at this place.
